Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller in Kenedy, Texas, 78119, United States. This role involves managing accounting workflow, providing accounting direction, and analytical support, as well as assisting the Business Unit Finance Manager in various tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct complex accounting activities to record, analyze, and monitor financial information.

• Oversee monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.

• Prepare and review required supporting documentation and financial statements to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP).

• Guide the different accounting functional areas such as invoice processing, billing, cash receipts, work order processing, credit analysis, receivable collections, month-end close, journal entries, statistical data, and payroll.

• Assist in managing the accounting workflow across all division departments.

• Ensure proper internal controls are in place including compliance with Company policies and procedures, Sarbanes Oxley, and all other statutory requirements.

• Meet all internal and external reporting deadlines.

• Provide accounting assistance and support to corporate and/or area leadership as necessary.

• Support the Business Unit Finance Manager during the annual budget and interim forecasting process and assist with analytical review.

• Assist with periodic financial audits including internal audits, external audits, and peer reviews.

• Support and respond to information requests from various departments as required.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential

• Familiarity with Concur is beneficial

• Knowledge of Crystal Reports is necessary

• Understanding of DCAA is required

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions efficiently is essential

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is beneficial

• Ability to perform Auditing tasks efficiently is required

• Experience with Billing Functions is essential
