Cci Industrial Svc LLC Offshore Rigger - Certs Required in Kenai, Alaska
This position is responsible for assisting in the functions required for crane operations. This includes assisting with equipment transport and set-up. Assisting in the basic maintenance, organizing and cleaning of rigging equipment and signaling crane lifts. This position will be responsible for driving CCIs Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. CCIs mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies.

Ensure a safe work environment. Participate in CCIs STEPBACK safety program and stay compliant with online training modules in EHS. Review and comply with the various Clients safety programs. Your responsibility includes representing the Company in a professional manner at all times. Assists per OSHA specifications. Assists with basic crane maintenance. Other duties as assigned. This position has no supervisory duties. Must work with experienced operator or another more qualified rigger.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of crane hand signals Ability to identify and inspect types of rigging hardware, slings and tag lines. Able to check for damage to rigging equipment. General Crane knowledge, including load-handling safety practices as well as how to use American Society of Mechanical Engineers hand signals.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and severe outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a mechanical shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear is required in most working situations.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required. NCCCO Rigger 1 Card is required. To work offshore, you will also have to have an API cert on your NCCCO rigger card A 24-hour Hazwoper (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) training card is required. Valid drivers license is required to perform job duties.
Offshore experience is preferred
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employees ability to perform to the job standard. MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet. HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms. VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man. LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet. RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
