Are you a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator seeking a challenging role with a variety of responsibilities, working in a brand-new facility, where you can interact with lots of different teams both in the UK and across the EMEA and India regions?
As a HR Coordinator here at Leidos you will join a small team providing HR services to around 500 employees across the UK, Europe, Middle East and India.

Responsible for providing HR generalist administrative and advisory support across the full HR lifecycle and region (UK, Europe, India, Middle East).
To work closely with business area to help implement the people strategy and provide operational support and guidance to managers, employees and applicants, based on established HR policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Support the EMEAI HR Lead with the overall HR strategy
In conjunction with the EMEAI HR Lead, ensure that HR policies and procedures are maintained and developed within relevant country legislation.
To support line managers with recruitment & on-boarding, development and retention of all employees.
Provide guidance on people practices and established HR policies and procedures.
To actively promote positive staff welfare of all employees inclusive of health and safety, Working Time Regulations, employee satisfaction and wellbeing.
To support talent development and ensure all HR and training records are accurate and up to date and meet legislative requirements.
To manage absence levels, ensuring minimal cost are incurred by the organization.
Coordinating the administration of Right to Work and Visa applications across the region.
Understand and adhere to the HR Shared Service procedures, checklist and general HR processes.
To undertake any other duty commensurate with this post as determined by the EMEAI HR Lead
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise own work load
Influencing and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Coaching and providing feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency.
Working as part of the extended HR team

Requirements
A keen interest and good understanding of current UK employment law and application within the business
Experience of advising managers on HR policy & procedure
Excellent Excel skills and appropriate PC skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with people at all levels
A strong team player, with excellent organizational and problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to multi-task and work well within a high pace pressurized environment.
Proven experience of successfully working in a similar role
Advanced level of education or equivalent
Ideal candidate will be based near one of our offices in Kempston or Wickford
Preferred Qualifications
International employment law exposure
Experience of matrix management and working within an international organization across different time zones
HR system experience; preferably Workday
ADP
Relevant HR qualification and the desire to advance HR career
