THE OPPORTUNITY

Looking for a role doing what you love at a dynamic and innovative consulting firm? We are looking for a Proposal Writer to join our team in Kelowna or Vancouver, BC on a permanent full-time basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • · Read incoming requests for proposals.

  • · Write proposals, RFP cover letters and executive summaries.

  • · Participate in kick-off meetings, strategy session and proposal project planning.

  • · Ensure win themes are articulated in a way to meet client's expectations.

  • · Collaborate with Discipline and Team Leads to articulate consulting services provided.

  • · Support team throughout each component of the submission and evaluation process.

  • · Undertake market research for kick off and solution meetings.

  • · Assist the bid and project manager in developing a proposal structure.

  • · Identify potential cross selling within disciplines.

  • · Review and edit RFP responses from internal teams.

  • · Identify and rework existing pre-written content where relevant.

  • · Participate in the ongoing review and improvement of proposal content and standards.

  • · Attention to detail and meticulous proof-reading skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A post-secondary certificate or university degree is required.

  • 3+ years' experience in a proposal writing role.

  • Engineering consulting industry experience considered an asset.

  • Deltek Vantagepoint experience an asset.

  • Strong work ethic with the desire to excel and achieve success for the firm, the client, and the team.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills along with exceptional time management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven collaboration skills.
