Akima Warehouse Specialist in Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi

AIS is looking for a Warehouse Specialist to work at Keesler AFB, MS. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Under general supervision performs industrial warehouse duties and work assignments related to movement, handling, storage and management of materials and equipment. Requires knowledge, experience and use of various material handling systems.

Responsibilities

  • Loads, unloads, and moves stock

  • Issues and transports material, including stock and other special storage items between storage areas and delivery points

  • Operates and performs work using general purpose trucks and power-lift trucks, and other comparable equipment

  • Checks, identifies, and verifies accuracy of records and quantities of material received, stored, shipped, or issued

  • Performs physical inventory count of material

  • Examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage

  • Record supply transactions in CMMS system

Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant work experience in warehousing functions

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Valid Driver’s License
