Accountabilities

•Orientation

• Basic Production Plant Operations

• Assist as needed with Operations and Maintenance at the Gas Plant

• Receive Propane Loads

• Meter Reading

• Meter Turn ons/offs

• Collections

• Assist with tasks associated with meter installations and meter maintenance programs

• Miscellaneous Fitting Work

• Perform preliminary vehicle checks

• Assist with Fleet and Equipment maintenance

• Operates compressor truck, dump trucks and other truck equipment

• Operate power equipment on company vehicles (generators, breakers, tampers, drills, saws)

• Work within trenches or confined areas

• Assist with maintenance of the Distribution System and installation of mains and services

• Leak Investigations, Leak Surveys (current practice)

• Pre-Mark Duties (current practice)

• Work during inclement weather and emergencies

• Assist on two-person assignments as needed

• Assist with reporting and filing as required and completion of all required Work Orders and paperwork

• Other duties as assigned or as outlined per the 12012-10 CBA

• After proper training, required to be included in a weekly call rotation for 24/7 emergency response

• May be required to work irregular and/or extended hours to support any of the above duties. Subject to scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Must be able to furnish an acceptable means of off-hour contact by telephone.

Education and Experience

  • Must work safely and comply with all PPE rules specified in the Liberty Employee Safety Handbook

  • Valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid CDL B or A license, including interstate medical certificate.

  • Pass our DOT Drug & Physical exam required

  • Pass Company’s Aptitude Testing

  • Knowledge of distribution tools, hydraulics, generators, equipment, fleet vehicles, and materials

  • Be familiar with the use of electronic devices such as handhelds and computers

  • Have legible handwriting and printing and good communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to work within a team

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Live within 20 minutes of Keene
