Position Overview

The Manager will oversee collections function and team for the company in order to maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt risk; including partnering with customers and internal departments status and proactive management of high risk accounts

Job Description

• Manage the collection of accounts receivable balances and provide guidance to ensure appropriate resolution

• Review non and short payments with team members. Troubleshoot variances and provide resolution to associaties

• Prepare and present recurring reporting for AR/Finance/Sales leadership, for DSO, bad debt, high risk accounts and other ad hoc analysis as necessary

• Develop and execute plans to reduce/minimize delinquency

• Monitor high risk accounts and ensure any financial exposure is escalated to senior management on a timely basis

• Manage team of associates

• Coordinate and manage documentation/information as required for external audits

• Maintain and update process documentation

• Reconcile and process adjustments for bad debt and accounts receivable balance sheet accounts. Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations

• Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)

Skills

• Special Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems and software (e.g. GL package, Financial reporting system) preferred

• 5-7 : Applicable experience, including understanding key accounting principles
