Description We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team in Keene, California. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling communications with clients and vendors, and preparing financial reports. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records accurately

• Handle communications with vendors, clients, and internal departments efficiently

• Assist in inventory, database, and record maintenance

• Prepare statements to confirm database accuracy

• Provide administrative assistance to accountants

• Process and record transactions diligently

• Prepare financial reports periodically

• Issue checks and make deposits as required

• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

• Assist in billing and invoice processing. Requirements • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role or related field

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Proven experience in billing and invoice processing

• Strong data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of organization and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulatory standards

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
