Clearance Secret Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a PaaS Systems Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Kearneysville, WV (hybrid work schedule; must be local to office). The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's Infrastructure Managed Service (IMS) Program, for the Unites States Coast Guard (USCG). This initiative is modernizing and consolidating the engineering and operational environment under a managed service to better support the services provided to the USCG. Job Responsibilities: Providing guidance across the Technical Services team, including requirements definition, design, implementation, and testing. Providing administration and operations and maintenance support on Windows Server 2008R2, 2012R2 and 2016 to Windows Server 2019 Create and update documentation and process improvements Providing quality services, including responsively communicating with customers, analyzing tickets to identify issues, developing proposed solutions, and resolving tickets. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively. Perform routine system backups and ensure data integrity. Assist in user account management and permissions. Collaborate with senior administrators to develop and document standard operating procedures. Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of new software and hardware solutions. Work on special projects and tasks as assigned by senior team members. Support core business hours and on-call support during non-core business hours. Skills: Detail-oriented and able to organize information Strong customer service and oral/written communication skills required. Ability to work independently and produce results, given general priorities, required Versatile and flexible and capable of assisting other Tier 3 teams within the overall, larger Enterprise support team
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree with 2 years experience; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with High School Diploma/ equivalent Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance Experiencing supporting Windows Server 2008R2, 2012R2 and 2016 to Windows Server 2019 CompTIA Security+ certification. ITILv4 Foundations certification preferred. Secret Clearance

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
