UNIVERSITY OF NEB KEARNEY Assistant/Associate Professor, Kinesiology and Sport Sciences in Kearney, Nebraska

The University of Nebraska at Kearney invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions within the Kinesiology and Sport Sciences Department. The successful candidates will teach undergrad and graduate courses in Kinesiology/ Sport Management/ or Coaching based on qualifications. Potential courses include Psychology of Sport, Social Media in Sport, Philosophy/ Leadership/Management of Sport, Sport Finance, Sport Coaching, Coaching Philosophy or Techniques, Officiating or Sport Theory. Faculty advise undergraduate and graduate students; participate in service activities within the department, college, university, region, and profession, and engage in scholarly research. The successful candidates will conduct research in her/his interest area leading to publications in nationally peer-reviewed journals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Doctoral degree in Kinesiology/ Sport Management or related field (ABDconsidered). Evidence of ability to be successful in the areas of teaching, service and scholarship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Three or more years of teaching at the collegiate level and experience with teaching face-to-face and online. Record of scholarly activity including securing external funding.
