The expected pay range for a Security Systems Technician in Keaau is $21.60 to $28.50 per hour.
HPM Tech (HPM Building Supply) is continuing to grow so we are seeking to hire a Security Systems Technician in Keaau. The Security Systems Technician's primary responsibility is the installation and maintenance of a variety of security systems, including video surveillance, alarms, sensors, and access control systems. This individual plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties and assets by implementing robust security solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver's license
Three years of proven experience installing and maintaining security systems, including video surveillance, alarm systems, alarm panels, access control systems, sensors, and related security technologies, preferably in a similar role
Three years of experience installing and maintaining structured cabling systems including Cat5/Cat6 cabling, support structures, and peripherals
Three years of experience in basic networking, including Layer-1, Layer-2, and Layer-3 networking, installation and repair of switches, Power over Ethernet devices, DHCP, IP and security fundamentals including firewalls, VLANs, ACLs, etc.
Related technical certifications are preferred, but not required
May occasionally require critical incident response after hours or on weekends
