Eurofins Junior Business Analyst in Katowice, Poland

As a Junior Business Analyst, your role is to manage business requirements by acting as a bridge between business needs and IT solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including key users, lab managers, and business unit managers, to ensure the successful implementation of IT initiatives. Your responsibilities include managing and tracking the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, preparing specifications and documentation, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of solutions. You will provide regular updates on assigned requirements and lead major development and deployment projects, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place. Additionally, you will define project scopes and timelines, regularly provide updates on project progress, and raise alerts if any issues arise.

In the technical aspect of your role, you will define requirements, user stories, and test cases. You will prepare changes for the Change Advisory Board and execute test plans on the delivered solutions. Providing training to users on the application scope of these solutions is also part of your responsibilities.

We are looking for a candidate with an educational background in chemistry, microbiology, or information systems. You should have proven expertise in business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development, and be comfortable aligning IT with business initiatives and have experience in project coordination and management. Familiarity with specifying requirements for business applications and working on ERP deployment projects in mid-size organisations is essential. Knowledge of ServiceNow and SharePoint configuration and administration is also required.

Fluency in English is essential, with a minimum proficiency of B2, with C1 or better preferred. You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, be logical and detail-oriented, and have a strong customer orientation mindset. Effective communication skills, both written and oral, are important, as is the ability to work independently and make informed decisions. You should be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, have a hands-on attitude, and be a team player.
