TAK Broadband is a leading end-to-end U.S. fiber broadband network construction contractor operating in 42 states. This includes engineering teams, distributors, and more than 100 qualified construction crews with extensive experience across all ISP types and markets; over 300 experienced bury drop crews; and more than 700 professional technicians.

We are seeking an accomplished technology executive to serve as Vice President of Information Technology . This strategic leadership position will spearhead the digital transformation of a rapidly growing organization while optimizing existing technology capabilities. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution to drive business value through technology innovation.

The Role

  • Drive enterprise-wide technology integration initiatives supporting TAK's vision of unified operations

  • Champion the organization's digital transformation journey, evolving from traditional IT management to a strategic delivery organization

  • Develop and execute comprehensive technology strategies aligned with 2025 business targets of revenue and EBITDA

  • Lead the modernization of critical business platforms while optimizing technology spend and maximizing ROI

  • Execute on an enterprise-wide technology blueprint encompassing applications, data analytics, infrastructure, and cybersecurity

  • Direct the selection and implementation of mission-critical platforms

  • Spearhead the development of advanced analytics capabilities through Power BI implementation

  • Design and execute cybersecurity programs ensuring robust protection of enterprise assets

  • Drive systematic improvements in system availability and performance metrics

  • Implement next-generation infrastructure solutions leveraging hybrid cloud architectures

  • Establish best-in-class development practices including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

  • Develop comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity programs

  • Optimize technology investments to achieve a reduction in total IT costs

  • Ensure technology initiatives deliver measurable business value and exceed ROI targets

  • Provide accurate 6-month rolling forecasts of technology investments and expenditures

  • Build and lead high-performing technical teams through strategic hiring and talent development

  • Establish optimal organizational structure balancing internal capabilities with strategic outsourcing

  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years progressive IT leadership experience in enterprise environments

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field preferred

  • MBA or related advanced business degree a plus

  • Demonstrated track record of successful digital transformation initiatives at scale

  • Extensive experience managing enterprise-wide technology portfolios and vendor relationships

  • Professional certifications in relevant domains (ITIL, TOGAF, PMP) a plus

  • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)

Additional Information

  • Compensation Range: $175,000 - $225,000
