Honeywell Sr PPandC Analyst in Kansas City, Missouri

In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing and Technologies (FMandT) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administrations (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. This state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing and sourcing facility produces a wide array of intricate components to deliver trusted national security products and government services primarily for the NNSA. Summary

Sr PPandC Analyst oversees and performs detailed project/program planning, tracking, scheduling, financial analysis and reporting based on interpretation of complex data from NNSA source guidance, Design Labs, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for projects/programs of significant dollar value, complexity, and scope.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Applies project management and financial standards and processes in support of multiple projects and works closely with project management and program managers to maintain scope, schedule, and financial baselines, EAC's, forecasts, trend analysis and customer reports.
  • Provides leadership for the development, management, and communication of project networks in support of programmatic requirements.
  • Acts as primary point-of-contact for contract administration and/or demand management.
  • Contract reporting, analysis of project resource requirements, tracking annual plans outside the current fiscal schedule, processing costs transfers, reconciling cost discrepancies, supporting budget requests tracking of purchasing issues or any other financial transactions.
  • Guides and mentors lower-level analysts.
  • Assists Program Manager and Project Managers in planning, staffing, and execution of major project/program assignments. May represent projects/programs on behalf of management.
  • Develops and maintains project planning networks for complex projects related to major weapon/reimbursable programs.
  • Reports status of project plans and, if necessary, develops and presents recovery plans at customer review meetings.
  • Negotiates project related changes with internal and/or external customers to assure development/qualification schedules are met.
  • Routinely uses supply chain knowledge and FMandT ERP/MRP system to gather data required to manage project plans.
  • Evaluates project status and potential issues; and initiates appropriate contact FMandT supply chain to resolve issues.
  • Leads teams in resolving critical program operations support problems that occur in delivery of services.
  • Could be responsible for negotiating workload priorities with manufacturing and test laboratories for the division (i.e., Manufacturing/Operations, Reservoirs, Telemetry, Procurement and Materiel Management).
  • Responsible for customer order management for complex, multiple item contracts with high cost and customer d livery impacts.
  • Represents FMandT as point-of-contact, for external customers- some responsibility could include preparation of quotes, managing customer order scope, schedule, and cost to ensure contracts are completed according to negotiated schedule dates and budget constraints.
  • May be required to coordinate and conducts site-level meetings to review and evaluate programs, projects and workforce status in accordance with the site management operating system.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and analyze project actuals (hourly, salary, material, travel, other) vs. forecast, budgets, or baselines.
  • Evaluate project cost details and provide analysis to Project Lead.
  • Monitor project actuals for incorrect charging (labor, material, other) and support Project Lead in remediation.
You Must Have
  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant work experience; OR 2 additional years of experience.
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
We Value

Preferred degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.

Knowledge of project/program forecasting, budgetingand scheduling.

Solid understanding of Project Management methodology and contract management concepts.

Rapidly developing sound understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, PeopleSoft, Primavera and ERP Software.

Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Management, demand management, and contract management.

Ability to work with multiple teams of people and inspire
