Job Title: Project Architect

Job Description

As a Project Architect, you will lead internal project teams, coordinate with external engineers and consultants, and significantly interact with clients, consultants, and general contractors. You will navigate local and state municipality/authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements and approvals, plan project work to achieve required schedule milestones, and prepare meeting agendas and written documentation of project meetings. You will also conduct project site investigations and document existing site conditions, perform departmental and room-by-room space programming, engage in schematic design, develop design drawings and specifications, prepare construction documents, and undertake construction administration tasks, including on-site observation of projects during construction.

Hard Skills

• 6+ years of Architect experience

• Experience working on commercial projects required

• Project work planning

• Schematic design

• Design development drawings & specifications

• Construction documents preparation

• Construction administration

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Kansas City, Missouri.
