Honeywell PP&C Analyst II in Kansas City, Missouri

Summary

PP&C Analyst II works independently to perform project planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting activities, and customer order management for programs and projects as assigned.  PP&C Analyst II analyzes and interprets data from NNSA, Design Labs, and internal ERP system.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilizes discretion and analysis in developing, maintaining and facilitating project plans for projects related to that support weapon program development and qualification activities.

  • Reports status of project plans and develops and presents recovery plans at customer review meetings.

  • Negotiates changes to project plans with internal and external customers to assure approved schedules are met. 

  • Routinely uses supply chain knowledge and FM&T ERP/MRP system to gather required data.

  • Participates in business improvement changes and problem solving to improve organizational efficiency using Six Sigma tools.

  • Effectively interfaces and builds strong relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Prepares, analyzes, monitors, and reports status of cost estimates for multiple complex reimbursable contracts including development, pre-production and production to ensure no cost over-runs.

  • Responsible for monitoring reimbursable customer orders, which includes acting as FM&T point-of-contact for external customers for order administration, and responsibility for managing customer order scope, schedule, and cost for assigned projects.

  • Determines and recommends workload priorities in support of program objectives with supply chain organizations (i.e., Manufacturing/Operations, Reservoirs, Telemetry, Procurement & Materiel Management). 

  • May collect business intelligence to assist in contract proposal development for development of new business.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and analyze project actuals (hourly, salary, material, travel, other) vs. forecast, budgets, or baselines.

  • Monitor project actuals for incorrect charging (labor, material, other) and support Project Lead in remediation.

  • Perform variance analysis and required reporting/communication.

You Must Have

  • Bachelors degree in Business or related field and 2 years of relevant experience; OR 2 additional years of experience.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.

  • United States Citizenship.

  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
