This Electrical Engineer III role is an experienced level position responsible for leading complex maintenance engineering functions on assigned projects, and equipment repair and troubleshooting activities. This role also involves independently determining and developing solutions to technical problems specifically assigned or as they arise through applying advanced mathematical, physical science, and engineering technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities
- This role is for an Equipment Reliability Electrical Engineer, who provides support to the Production and Maintenance organizations for the operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- An Equipment Engineer assists with new equipment specifications, vendor checkouts, installations, maintains equipment documentation files, develops, and maintains preventive and predictive maintenance procedures, leads complex troubleshooting activities related to breakdowns and other reliability/throughput issues, and assures communication.
- Assists and leads in the design and/or project/process management of new and current facilities projects, equipment improvement/reliability projects, and maintenance support tooling under technical guidance of higher-level technical experts.
- Partners with internal and external stakeholders to assist in resolving moderately complex, maintenance and troubleshooting issues, supporting maintenance machine repair people, electricians, and pipefitters.
- Supports facility electrical safety programs for maintenance and engineering requirements.
- Prepares evaluation reports, makes recommendations for, and initiates the most cost-effective improvements for equipment maintainability and reliability and supports improvements in productivity safety.
- Provides project leadership and technical guidance on complex engineering projects.
You Must Have
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited university in Engineering or Physics from and accredited program.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in engineering, analytical, or related technical activities.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business

We Value
Ability to troubleshoot machine problems and determine root cause and appropriate corrective action for equipment breakdowns.
Experience working with complex machines and their design, installation, repair, and/or upgrade. Experience with manufacturing automation systems, PC controls and machine networking is preferred.
Experience in predictive maintenance technologies and/or health monitoring connectivity of equipment; aiding in faster troubleshooting, reduction in downtime, and support planned maintenance from catching failures before they happen.
Understanding of electrical theory, circuits, hardware applications, schematics, and logic sequences. Experience with maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, upgrading and/or modifying complex production manufacturing or laboratory equipment and automated controls.
Ability to provide technical guidance, management of small projects, consultative services, risk assessment and regular participation in innovative solutions.
