Ultimate LLC has an opening for a Lead Estimator to join a hardworking team at a unique & growing sub-contracting company. This position is responsible for leading a team of senior level and junior level estimators. Scopes will range from Exterior and interior Metal Stud framing, drywall systems, casework/millwork fabrication and install. Salary is $70k-$110k depending on experience.

Responsibilities include:

This role will require a skilled commercial construction professional with experience in Metal Stud Framing, Structural Metal framing and Drywall systems. We have a long term, full time position for a detail oriented, reliable professional in a team-oriented firm.

· Knowledge of drywall assemblies, acoustical ceilings systems, spray foam insulation, and EIFS

· Ability to obtain up-to-date pricing information for bids

· Complete knowledge and experience with metal framing, drywall finish and carpentry

· Provide hard bid estimates of projects

· Accurate take offs document management for self and others to review

· Good communication skills, ability to describe scopes and detail of assemblies with precision

· Client relationship building and maintaining the relationship through a business development attitude

· Ability to quickly work through budget estimating exercises

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· 5-7 yrs. Experience required

· Ability to read shop drawings, architectural/structural drawings and contract specs

· Experience estimating prevailing wage projects (Desired, but not mandatory)

· Must have proficient estimating software experience (Important)

· Positive and entrepreneurial attitude

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

· Onscreen Take off and Quick Bid software
