Job Description:

Lockton is looking for an experienced Microsoft Cloud Security Engineer to secure and manage our cloud infrastructure, primarily focused on Microsoft Azure and Office 365. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect data, applications, and the network in our cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with information security, technology, and business leadership to develop and implement strategies and architectures to enforce security requirements and address risks for Office 365, workloads deployed in cloud services, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure that cloud environments comply with industry standards and company policies.

• Manage security services such as Entra Active Directory, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Cloud, and Azure Policy.

• Develop and communicate information security policies, standards, and documentation.

• Conduct regular security risk assessments and compliance audits.

• Provide expertise in cloud-based security solutions and best practices.

• Respond to and mitigate security incidents in the cloud environment.

• Develop and deploy security automation, such as scripts, playbooks, and custom analytics rules.

• Keep abreast of the latest cloud security threats and technologies.

• Actively coach and mentor others.

3. 5+ Years automating scripting security tasks with Powershell, Python

Microsoft Purview major plus!

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• Professional certifications in Microsoft Azure Security (e.g., AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies) are highly desirable.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on cloud security.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing architecture, cloud security best practices, and cloud security frameworks.

• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation of security tasks.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and cloud security tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest in cloud security and continuously enhance skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00
