Job Description
Support the day-to-day financial activities of the Information Technology (IT) department related to financial reporting, budgeting, month-end close duties, monthly expense analysis, and forecasting. Role will create financial reports to be reviewed and discussed with IT and Finance leadership, as well support capital and strategic projects. In addition, role will provide vendor management, purchase order support and invoice coding and review. Role ultimately serves as the Finance Business Partner for IT.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day financial activities of the IT department
Provide analytical support in the IT planning process, including target setting, operating plan development, and plan reviews
Support Finance and IT leadership in driving analytical insight into monthly financial performance and track gap plan performance and balance of year projections to ensure financial objectives are achieved
Support senior leadership in development of business case(s) for IT investments
Maintain standardized reporting across all IT cost centers
Support IT and Finance team in the development and reengineering of business processes
Lead the annual budgeting process for both capital and operating expenses for IT
Distribute monthly financial reports
Participate and/or lead in monthly review meetings
Analyze data to be used in financial analysis
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
Perform month-end close duties as required
Provide support with budget and forecast activities
Function as back-up finance business partner for other DFA functions, as needed
Participate in and assist with special projects as directed
Participate on cross-functional teams and collaborate with other departments to complete financial activities, as needed, and improve processes and efficiencies

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar discipline
At least 3 years of financial and/or accounting experience
Experience in use of Excel, SAP ECP/APO, BW, and BI and experience in use of business modeling and planning platforms (Hyperion, Anaplan, etc.)
Certification and/or License – N/A
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong accounting, financial planning and analysis, and analytical skills
Able to demonstrate the technical and professional competence required to perform responsibilities and accomplish objectives
Able to actively take ownership of finance functions for IT and other DFA functions, as needed
Able to identify business process opportunities and develop/implement strategies for success, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes
Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
