Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
Join our innovative team and contribute to the development of vehicle modifications that make transporting people, cargo, and equipment easier, faster, and more efficient. As a Production Worker, you will install wheelchair ramps in transit vans, work on the production line, and ensure vehicles move steadily through final inspection. This role requires flexibility and skill to move between different sections to prevent bottlenecks.
Responsibilities
Install wheelchair ramps in transit vans.
Lift up to 50 pounds and assemble components.
Use a variety of hand and power tools including bandsaws, circular saws, jig saws, routers, soldering irons, micro torches, drills, screw guns, utility knives, and air saws.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Work independently and with a team to achieve daily production goals.
Identify and resolve problems prematurely.
Work with chemicals as required.
Track supplies and equipment, and notify manager of inventory levels.
Adapt to new areas of the production line or new builds.
Train new hires in your area of responsibility.
Comply with the company's Core Values.
Complete other duties as assigned.
In the MOST BASIC EXPLANATION, you are upfitting and modifying interior of vehicles.
Essential Skills
Experience with assembly and use of hand and power tools.
Comfortable using a measuring tape.
Ability to read blueprints.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Experience in mechanical assembly and upfitting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Capable of functioning in a production environment using standard equipment (machine tools, hand tools, measuring devices, etc.).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Capable of performing production-related physical activities (walking, standing, talking, hearing, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching, smelling, depth perception, identifying colors).
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Participation in required company safety programs, trainings, and PPE guidelines.

Work Environment
You will be working in a nice facility that is non-climate controlled. The standard hours are 5am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Kansas City, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
Employees receive benefits equal to 100 percent of their annual salary at no cost to them. Short-term disability and long-term disability are provided at no cost to the employee.

This is a fully onsite position in Kansas City,KS.
