Job Description
Lead and/or participate on cross-functional teams to implement, maintain, and enhance development functions for enterprise business applications implemented at DFA (e.g., SAP, JDE, OpenText). Partner with the implementation and support teams to gather technical requirements and deliver technical solutions. Provide input on system design, integration testing, and post go-live support as needed. Coordinate with team members and external on- and off-shore consultants. Lead complex or high-impact projects with minimal direction.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and/or participate in the analysis, design, development, documentation, performance testing, and implementation of technical business solutions
Gather and document complex business requirements; translate them into detailed functional specifications and/or interpret functional specifications; and convert them into technical solutions that can be implemented and supported
Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes and systems, often identifying strategic improvements
Collaborate with senior analysts and IT teams to design and propose technology solutions
Ensure solutions align with business goals and technical standards
Lead implementation and testing phases, often overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
Provide support for implemented systems, including complex troubleshooting and issue resolution
Conduct system audits and lead significant updates or migrations
Develop comprehensive training programs and documentation for end-users
Lead data analysis efforts, generating strategic insights. Design and maintain dashboards and reporting systems. Ensure the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy
Lead large and/or complex projects. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Manage cross-functional teams and ensure successful project delivery
Maintain knowledge of advancing technologies and exchange new ideas and suggestions for improvement
Mentor less experienced analysts and provide guidance on best practices
Follow best practices that support business requirements and deliverables using approved DFA development and change control methodology. Follow approved DFA project management and governance standards

Requirements
Education and Experience
Undergraduate degree in computer science, information technology, or related curriculum (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
5 to 8 years of business systems analysis, information technology, or related experience
Experience with the following systems and/or computer languages:
JDE E1, specifically warehousing
Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of requirements gathering, system analysis, and project management
Strong understanding of the system/application(s) supported and related master data
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) and ERP systems
Able to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
Able to communicate and translate complex technical topics into easy-to-understand concepts
Able to clearly document technical processes
Able to demonstrate written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with business users, stakeholders, technical teams, and various levels of management
Able to listen and communicate in a clear and concise manner, along with the ability to recognize the audience and tailor communications accordingly
Able to work independently and effectively in a team environment
Able to manage multiple assignments or projects simultaneously, including the ability to prioritize
Able to organize time and resources effectively to achieve goals (i.e., organizational skills)
Able to demonstrate strong customer service orientation
Must be able to read, write and speak English
