In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible to maintain and develop the CRDN business with existing and new customers in line with the business guidelines and business strategies for your sales territory while meeting the financial and non-financial targets. You will also collect market intelligence data, follow, report and advise on the strategies.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Sales and Promotion : Actively promote and sell Medtronic CRDN portfolio products to meet or exceed sales AOPs assigned in the desired compliant manner.
Relationship Management : Develop long-term relationships with stakeholders and KOLs such as hospital staff, distributors, and other healthcare professionals.
Customer Needs : Assess customer needs, pursue leads, and provide product education and services so as to extend the benefit of Medtronic products for better treatment for the patients.
Market Development : Implement market development strategies and provide feedback to internal teams about product improvements, customer preferences and competition. Increase penetration in existing accounts, develop existing accounts into potential new product therapies/patient therapies, and convert non-buying accounts.
Product Education : Train healthcare professionals on the use and benefits of Medtronic products. Train, educate, and provide technical support to customers and relevant hospital staff on Medtronic products, support clinical activities upon request.
Product Knowledge & Expertise : Sales representatives need to have in-depth knowledge of Medtronic’s complex medical devices and technologies, especially as they often provide guidance on product use in critical healthcare settings such as operating rooms or cath labs.
Training and certifications : Sales representatives must ensure completion of all trainings and certifications within stipulated time lines.
Ensure proper control of consignment and all other stock levels according to asset management guidelines and targets.Develop and maintain accurate account and territory record and complete administrative reportings on timelines as assigned.
Ethical Leadership & Integrity : Medtronic emphasizes high ethical standards, sales representatives must lead with integrity and ensure compliance with all regulations and corporate policies.
SALES PROFESSIONAL CAREER STREAM: Typically sales professional individual contributors with direct sales responsibilities. May direct the work of other lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies and closing sales.

Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Obtains or provides information requiring some explanation or interpretation .
Communicates with external customers and / or vendors, involving negotiation and / or presentations in order to manage relationships and close sales.
Leadership and Talent Management: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
May provide guidance and assistance to entry level sales professionals and / or support employees.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge gained through experience of sales techniques and job area typically obtained through education combined with sales experience.
Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues .
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2-4 yrs in sales experience in Engineering/ science graduates or Clinical designation (RN, Radiology technician, Scrub Tech, Physician Assistant, perfusionist, Cath lab technicians.
Position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with key stakeholders (Colleagues, supervisors, healthcare practitioners).
Strong learning agility and problem-solving skills and organizing and prioritizing work.
Tenacity to stay the course despite setbacks.
Demonstrates integrity and recognized as a role model by their peers and manager.
Clinical selling aptitude with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong relations with leading Cardiologists in respective territory / existing market
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIRMENTS:
The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile. The employee is also required to interact with a computer and communicate with peers and co-workers. Extended periods of time doing computer-based work and Able to lift 20 pounds. Ability to use computers and CT reconstruction programs. Ability to travel 75% of the time by car, train and plane including weekends as weekends are spent in case support or programs. Wear lead apron for long periods of time (2-3 hours on average). Ability to work in Cath Labs or ORs with radiation exposure. Ability to conduct company business outside of the typical Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, work-schedule.
