Novant Health Manager Supply Chain Operating NHMG in Kannapolis, North Carolina
Job Summary
The Manager Supply Chain Operations NHMG will serve as the Supply Chain leader across all of the Novant Health Medical Group (NHMG). The functions of this position will be to serve as the primary Supply Chain point of contact for the 400+ NHMG clinics across the Novant Health footprint, and provide subject matter expertise and leadership in: inventory management/planning/execution, logistics (materials movement, receiving, deliveries, New Product Introduction), procurement (Ariba education, Lawson, non-stock, non-catalog, special receipt matching), finance (general ledger assignment via Lawson to order fulfillment, localize supply cost analysis and reporting), vendor management (policy adherence and interactions), and data analytics.
In addition, the Mgr Supply Chain Operations SAC will serve as a member of NHMG’s leadership team helping to drive Novant Health’s mission, vision, and values via localized initiatives. This position will participate with the NHMG leadership team as agreed upon with NHMG senior leadership.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree, required. Masters Degree, preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in leadership, management, coaching, personnel development, required.Supply Chain experience in healthcare, retail or manufacturing (inventory management, finance, logistics, planning, procurement, healthcare data analytics) and hospital or medical field experience, preferred.
Additional skills required: Current and future trends/practice in area of responsibility; regulatory and governing standards, policies and procedures. Information systems and software used in area of responsibility; equipment used in performing assigned duties. Application of safety and infection control policies and procedures. Skills in interviewing and selection process. Understanding of budgeting, staffing, payroll and purchasing processes. Implementation of competency, feedback, development and progressive discipline processes; teambuilding, conflict management, and interpersonal relationship skills; principles in adult learning and teaching methods/models. Decision making, project leadership and consultation, delegation and communication skills. Understanding of customer needs and expectations and knowledge for improvements to exceed customer expectations.
Additional skills preferred: Six Sigma or Lean methodology experience. Experience with Lawson/Infor software suite, Ariba. Experience with EPIC. Experience with Inventory control techniques: General store, ABC evaluation, Min/Max methodology and sequencing in Par locations, cycle counting, lead/lag time ordering, stock rotation (first in-last out (FILO), first in-first out (FIFO)).
