Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will plan, coordinate and facilitate cargo operations such as; meeting aircraft departure schedule, providing documentation and certification of cargo loads and creates load manifest and hazardous material documentation. You will ensure the safe receipt, storage and movement of hazardous material, toxic materials, or ammunition in accordance with all installation orders and directives. You will operate the A-45 mid-range tow tractor and A-48 large land-based tow tractor primarily to move and park aircraft, but are also used to set tensioning of the runway arresting gear for emergency fighter jet recovery. You will be responsible for maintaining and determining serviceability of cargo support material. You will provide passenger service by ensuring cargo support with on and off loading, securing, certifying documentation. Checks in passengers and their baggage, responds to their inquiries and concerns and transports to/from scheduled aircraft. You will provide a means for scheduling of refueling/de-fueling of all arriving/departing transient aircraft and all support equipment within the table of equipment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Incumbent must be physically able to routinely handle/lift objects averaging 25 lbs. Occasionally lift objects in excess of 50 lbs. The work requires kneeling, stooping, bending, reaching, and climbing on and under the aircraft. WORKING CONDITIONS Incumbent is exposed to the possibility of injury (e.g., electrical equipment, falls from aircraft, hot brakes, movable surface controls, pressurized liquids and gases, high levels of noise, rotating rotor blades, and jet engine intakes and exhausts, 85% of the work will be outside in the weather conditions.
