Hub International Client Care Representative - Personal Insurance Trainee in Kamloops, British Columbia

The Opportunity:

No prior experience necessary to join our team. We offer complete training and the opportunity to obtain your level 1 general insurance license within 30 days of employment.

As a Personal Insurance Trainee , you will be at the forefront of our sales team, driving growth and delivering top-notch service to our clients. You will advise new and existing clients on how to best protect their assets when it comes to insurance. You will identify gaps in our clients’ coverage, and will offer solutions, proactively and creatively, using a diverse selection of insurance products.

You will develop new business by cross selling and making referrals to Personal & Commercial Lines. You will have clear and achievable targets and support every step of the way.

This role is ideal for someone who is self-managing, goal-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

A day in the life -

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships

  • Assess client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions

  • Handle a high volume of sales activities with a sense of urgency

  • Navigate and resolve client issues with innovative problem-solving

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge and regulatory changes to provide accurate and relevant information to clients.

Salary Expectations -

The expected salary range for this position is $38,400.00 to $45,000.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
