Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to prepare and serve meals to meet residents’ nutritional needs; to assist residents with meal set-up; and to properly sanitize after meal service. This position is Part- Time, evenings and weekends.
Position Duties
Possess a high degree of personal cleanliness and hygiene
Assist in serving of meals and loading of food carts
Assist in preparation of various desserts, salads, peeling vegetables, etc.
Assist in washing dishes, pots and pans, while following good cleaning procedures
Assist in dining area set-up and tray assembly
Perform cleaning duties in kitchen and dining rooms, on equipment, dishwashing area, etc.
Deliver food and snack carts to various areas within the building
Assist with food and supply receiving and storage, as assigned
Obtain food and supplies from storeroom, as needed
Able and willing to work all positions with department, excluding cook and management
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Completion of Serve Safe™ program upon entry into this position.
