About The Role

As a member of the Glacier Solutions Development ("GSD") team, the Quality Assurance Manager reports to the Development Manager. The primary focus of this position is to oversee the Quality Assurance testing operations and management of QA team members in conducting both manual and automated quality assurance (QA) testing practices across multiple simultaneous testing efforts. This will include, but is not limited to, creating test suites, running test plans, writing test cases, and transitioning test cases to automated test plans when appropriate. This position will work with the Development Manager to develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards regarding the QA testing practices. The QA Manager will perform and coordinate testing efforts such as unit, regression, manual, automated, performance, and stress testing. This position will also work with the project team and divisional subject matter experts to implement effective UAT sessions. The QA Manager will work with the Development Manager to ensure testing completed by appropriate users at all levels of the organization for new systems, releases, new features, enhancements, and break/fix solutions. On project and strategic effort, the QA Manager will work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to provide QA and testing support of new or current production systems. This position will be expected to work in and follow industry standard waterfall and agile development lifecycles. Adherence to ITIL software change and release management processes and procedures is required. This position will be considered a representative of the IT department to all levels of bank groups and management, so professionalism and diplomacy to gain trust is critical to the success of the position.

This is a Corporate position which may be located at an available bank division location across our eight-state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, UT, WA, or WY. The mid-rate for this position is $110,334.52 +/- per year (calculated for Kalispell, MT).

All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.

Description

* Directly manages a team of Quality Assurance Specialists, organizing and managing periodic test engagements with third-party vendors as needed and working with bank Subject Matter Experts.

* Provides coaching and guidance to team members and Quality Assurance leadership to the organization through the management of a Testing Center of Excellence.

* Manages quality assurance testing at a functional level and a code level for software products and releases that impact the organization's business services and operations.

* Oversees the creation, maintenance, and providing all necessary documentation on testing validation, and quality assurance reviews.

* Design and execute effective and efficient testing scripts as well as coordinating QA Team testing efforts and end-user user acceptance testing efforts.

* Upholds all Standard Operating Procedures as outlined in IT policy, procedures, and standards.

* Analyzes and occasionally collects the business and functional requirements from all levels of the organization, and then transfers that knowledge into accurate and inclusive testing plans.

* Provides judgment, advice, recommendations, and best practices on systems to help senior management make informed decisions that impact peers and employees at all levels of the organization.

* Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.

Travel
