You will be supporting and working with Project Operations and Safety Personnel with safety compliance and the implementation of OSHA, Walbridge, and Customer occupational health, safety, and environmental guidelines. Responsibilities
Support the execution of the site specific safety badging to all trades and subcontractors working on the project.
Support the execution of the site specific Drug Free Workplace Program including post-accident alcohol and drug testing.
Support the review and approval of Subcontractor scope of work Pre-Task Plans.
Provide assistance to Project and Department Management personnel to ensure compliance with all project related safety policies and procedures.
Support the Project Team with any OSHA compliance inspections.
Perform periodic jobsite inspections and prepare observation reports.
Review all safety documentation/reports for accuracy and completeness.
Support the execution of the site Safety Recognition Program.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent training and experience.
Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook and possess strong data entry and basic math skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact with customers, vendors, suppliers and sub-contractors on a positive basis.
Must be able to work successfully in team situations.
Prefer to have prior experience working at remote construction job sites
Good written and oral communication skills
Willingness to travel
Knowledge of the 1926 OSHA Regulations
