Job Title: Architectural Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer to develop and submit shop drawings and specifications as defined in the scope of work provided by our customers. This role involves interpreting structural and architectural plans, drafting detailed floor plans, sections, elevations, and details, and coordinating panel analysis with engineering personnel. The ideal candidate will conduct quality checks on peer drawings, review and update drawings based on customer corrections, and provide preliminary material take-offs for project verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop shop drawings as defined in the scope of work provided by the customer

• Submit architectural drawings and specifications

• Interpret information from internal order and customer-supplied structural and/or architectural plans

• Draft floor plans, sections, elevations, and details

• Coordinate panel analysis with engineering personnel

• Conduct quality checks on peer drawings and bill of materials

• Review and update drawings according to customer redline corrections as needed

• Provide preliminary take-offs on every project to verify material needs

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

• Strong experience in architecture, drafting, and construction documentation

• Experience in architectural design

• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, contract documents, and specifications

• Previous experience in engineering and/or architectural drafting and rendering

• Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or other related technical field

• Strong design and rendering skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.87
