Aerotek Fuel Cell Engine Assembler in Jupiter, Florida

Description:

This position reports directly to the Director of Test Operations. Performs removal/installation, cleaning, inspection, repair, and replacement of Power Plant systems, components, and accessories. All work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, applicable manufacturer maintenance manuals, company directives and other approved data.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs safe operation of the engine under test

  • Completes routine maintenance of the test cell

  • Performs mechanical adjustments or alterations to the engine while in the test cell

  • Ensures accurate data recording of engine test parameters

  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and work cards

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

WORKING CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENT / SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and state and federal regulations.

  • As required by the position, must have the ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 "Respirator Protection"

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required

  • Power Plant license preferred (not required)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing maintenance and assembly on jet engines

  • Ability to navigate the OEM Manuals and to read and understand technical data

  • Must have working knowledge of the Quantum Operating System.

  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations.

  • As required by the position, must have the ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134
