We are looking for an Entry Level Tax Accountant to join our client's team in Juno Beach, Florida. The role primarily involves assisting in the preparation of various tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing support to clients. This is an ideal role for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of tax accounting in a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of tax returns and related work papers

• Apply knowledge of current tax laws and regulations to various client situations

• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for tax filings

• Respond to client inquiries and provide support as needed

• Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax legislation and apply findings to client situations

• Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

• Maintain organized and accurate records of all tax-related documentation

• Assist in the preparation of supporting documentation for audits and other tax-related inquiries

• Work closely with other members of the tax team to ensure timely and accurate tax filings

• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and client services

• Engage in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge of tax laws and regulations

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in tax accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA eligible or intent to pursue CPA certification.

• Basic understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Experience with tax preparation software is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
