Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Clause Accountant based in Juno Beach, Florida. This role is primarily in the public utilities industry, focusing on regulatory treatment of cost recovery clauses and research in S4 Hana. The selected candidate will utilize various systems to download data for completing regulatory schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure proper regulatory treatment of cost recovery clauses

• Conduct research using S4 Hana and other relevant systems

• Download data efficiently from various systems for regulatory schedule completion

• Contribute to the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts

• Review and reconcile balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze data

• Ensure compliance reporting is accurate and submitted in a timely manner

• Demonstrate proficiency in SAP for various accounting tasks

• Perform account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate customer credit records

• Assist in other tasks related to the Clause Accountant role as required. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Familiarity with General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge and understanding of SAP

• Experience in Compliance reporting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• High level of integrity and dependability.
