Job summary

Manages and supports the company's various database systems. Works with development and project staff to support development and production database systems. Contributes to product design and development as a database guide and accounts for loading client data into development and production databases.

General Job Tasks:

  • Coordinate data aggregation and curate complex reports using various business intelligence and reporting applications.

  • Perform ad-hoc, strategic review of structured and unstructured data, reflecting global real estate markets and the operations of real estate assets.

  • Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize information to generate insights and address reporting needs.

  • Define complex data requirements and gather information using judgment and statistical tests.

  • Use programming and evaluation tools, including open-source programs to plan models and extract insights.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data usage. Apply modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies and improve business performance.

  • Develop ad-hoc reporting based on the review of existing data sources.

  • Exhibit detailed data story presentation to various levels of leadership.

  • Confirm the quality and integrity of new and existing data sources.

  • Collaborate with the agile development team to provide recommendations and communications on enhancing existing or new processes and programs.

  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.

  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team; work within guidelines and policies.

  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

Specific Job Tasks:

  • Create ServiceNow tickets when new Tableau Profiles are request for creation.

  • Add/Delete/Update dashboard viewership within Tableau Server.

  • Support and Maintain Tableau Server, making changes and updates when deemed necessary.

  • Collaborate with other Service Lines to develop various Reporting tools, forms, dashboards, etc,

  • The liaison for the Business Analytics/Systems team when collaborating with the various support groups (CMMS, PMI Program Management, Account Ops).

  • Review current processes and procedures and look to streamline through use of automated data, custom reports, dashboards, etc.

  • Analyze, Comprehend, and Articulate data from multiple service lines and be able to provide recommendations on metrics, reports, and other tools to help make data-driven decisions.

Specific Job Skills:

  • Proficient in using CMMS Tools (How to navigate, data entry, pull reports, load/unload data into tool).

  • Proficient in Visual Analytics Platforms (Data Entry, Data Mine, Data Connections, Dashboard Development).

  • Solid ability to work independently with little to no supervision.

  • Strong Time Management skills allowing individual to perform tasks on multiple service lines simultaneously.

  • Heightened drive to find solutions when the easy solutions isn't available.

Specific Job Experiences:

  • 1+ years experience using a CMMS Product (Service Insight 7 & Maximo Experience Preferred).

  • 1+ years experience performing Analytical Tasks within Facilities Management, Property Management and/or Procurement.

  • 1+ years experience using Tableau Server

  • 1+ years experience using Tableau Desktop (Desktop Specialist Certification or better preferred but not required).

  • 1+ years experience using SmartSheet (Smartsheet Certified Associate or better preferred but not required).

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the [Senior Data Analyst] position is $90,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the [Senior Data Analyst] position is $100,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
