Retail Sales Floor Associate

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $22.80 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Retail Sales Floor Associate:

Customer Assistance:

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs.

• Assist customers in locating products and provide information on product features, pricing, and availability.

• Offer suggestions and alternatives to meet customer preferences.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

Sales and Product Knowledge:

• Actively engage with customers to understand their requirements and recommend suitable products.

• Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs and preferences.

• Stay knowledgeable about current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.

• Handle transactions quickly and accurately, including cash, credit, and other payment methods.

Stocking and Merchandising:

•  Ensure the retail sales floor is well-maintained, clean, and organized.

•  Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.

•  Arrange and display merchandise in an appealing manner to promote sales.

•  Update price tags and ensure products are accurately labeled.

General Responsibilities:

• Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation and securing the store.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall customer experience.

• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and customer service.

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: All Available and No Overnights

Job requirements:

• Proven work experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

• Proficiency in handling transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.

• Comfortable working on the sales floor for extended periods.

• Retail environment, including exposure to moderate noise levels and occasional crowded conditions.
