Job Summary

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to manage and maintain network systems and be adept at responding to network-related tickets and escalations. This is a full-time, remote, and long-term opportunity.
Due to the nature of the client’s needs, candidates must be able to support Pacific or Mountain time.
What You’ll Do
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
Respond promptly to network-related tickets and escalations, providing effective solutions
Configure and manage small-business class firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network issues
Implement network changes and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to services
Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to optimize network performance.
Document network configurations, changes, and procedures
What You’ll Need
Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with small-business class firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
Strong experience with Ubiquiti products
Proficiency in network configuration, management, and troubleshooting
Solid understanding of network security principles and practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, while maintaining collaborative team relationships
Desired:
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent
Experience with network monitoring tools and software
Familiarity with cloud networking solutions
Physical Demands:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
