Front End Attendant

PeopleReady of Juneau, AK is now hiring Front End Attendants! As a Front End Attendant you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with loading their purchases into their vehicles safely and efficiently. Additionally, you will be responsible for retrieving shopping carts from the parking area and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at the front end of the store.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $22.80 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Front End Attendant:

Customer Assistance:

• Safely load customers' purchases into their vehicles, ensuring products are secured properly.

• Provide courteous and attentive service to all customers during the loading process.

• Offer assistance in lifting heavy items and handling fragile merchandise with care.

• Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor at all times.

Shopping Cart Retrieval:

• Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and other designated areas.

• Ensure shopping carts are neatly organized and available for customer use.

• Monitor and maintain cart availability throughout the day.

• Assist in keeping the front end of the store clean and orderly.

Customer Service Support:

• Greet customers as they enter and exit the store.

• Direct customers to appropriate store sections or departments as needed.

• Provide basic information about store policies, promotions, and services.

• Assist in resolving customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when loading products into vehicles.

• Follow proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to customer service and operations.

Available shifts:

Shift Timings:  All Available and No Overnights

Job requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a similar role preferred.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) safely and with assistance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to customer service.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Work environment includes exposure to moderate noise levels and frequent customer interactions.
