Foot Locker is looking for Interns to join the Supply Chain team in Junction City, KS. The Supply Chain team is a high functioning team with expertise in inventory management, logistics, and cross functional partnerships that ensures the right products reach the right places at the right time, driving customer satisfaction and business growth.
Working with cross-functional teams,the Supply Chain Quality Internshiprole will support the Quality Assurance (QA) and Inventory Control (IC) teams in conducting various quality assurance activities, including product assessment, process monitoring, and data analysis. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality management systems, compliance, and continuous improvement processes.
Responsibilities
- Summer program located at one of Foot Lockers Distribution Centers working closely with team members and leaders to develop an understanding Quality Assurance and Inventory Control within the distribution centers.
- Assist in conducting inspections and audits of products, processes, and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Support the creation, implementation, and maintenance of quality procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
- Perform data collection and analysis related to product defects, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conforming products or processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
- Support the preparation of reports, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and improvement of quality control processes and testing methods.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives aimed at increasing product reliability and reducing waste.
- Other duties as assigned.
