Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to clients/patients in residential facilities and withdrawal management programs
Monitor vital signs, signs and symptoms of withdrawal, and escalate to medical intervention when necessary
Facilitate client/patient supervision checks and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Oversee medication administration and maintain accurate medication records
Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients
Encourage client adherence to program expectations and communicate concerns to the treatment team
Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to identifying client strengths, needs, and preferences
Facilitate group education sessions and structured activities
Assist with personal care tasks for clients in Residential Care Facilities when needed
Transport clients to appointments as required
Maintain a clean, safe environment and report any maintenance or safety concerns
Complete all mandatory trainings and attend staff meetings as requested
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
High School education OR equivalent and two (2) years responsible employment
Experience in Human Services or related field preferred
OR
Bachelor's Degree
MAADC I or II (for St. Louis County Programs)
Additional Qualifications:
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle
Must be at least twenty-three (23) years of age to operate a company-owned fifteen (15) passenger van
Valid driver's license in state of residency with an acceptable driving record and current auto insurance
Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check
First Aid certification (must obtain within three months of employment)
CPR certification (must obtain within three months of employment)
Ability to complete Behavioral Management training (CPI for Residential programs, Crisis Management on Relias for Outpatient programs) within thirty (30) days of employment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally
