A-State participates in E-Verify.\ \ Position Summary:\ \ Dr. Andrew Sweet received a National Science Foundation (NSF) award titled \"Collaborative Research: Unraveling the phylogenetic and evolutionary patterns of fragmented mitochondrial genomes in parasitic lice.\" The Biological Sciences Department at A-State is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to help fulfill the requirements of the grant.\ \ Duties & Responsibilities:\ \
- Generation and analysis of genomic sequence data, comparative genomic analysis of mitochondrial and nuclear genomes
- Helping to oversee similar activities among multiple research labs
\ \ The successful candidate will also be involved in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students.
