Manual Machinist

Currently hiring a Manual Machinist in the Joliet, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Pay: $27-$35/HR

Shift: 1st shift (M-F). 7AM-3:30PM (must be open to coming in early for OT)

Job Description:

• Performing layouts, setting up and operating conventional machine tools as required

• Reading and interpreting all drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

• Designing setup methods where none exist

• Instructing other shop personnel on proper machining techniques

• Continually improving methods to deliver higher quality with improved costs

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Manual Machining

• Mills and Lathes Experience

• Reading and Interpreting Drawings

• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Work Environment

Workshop facility in Joliet is fully equipped to overhaul and repair all types of rotating machinery.
