A member of the Department of Emergency Medicine who has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for coordinating and directing patient care for a specific group of patients within the Department of Emergency Medicine. This team member has the qualifications and experience to care for patients of all ages from neonates, pediatrics, adolescents,adultsand geriatrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from a program for professional Nurses
- PA Nursing License that is active and in good standing
- One yearacute care nursing experience and/or equivalent two years emergency medicine experience (CST,LPNor Paramedic)
- ACLS within one year
- PALS within 3 years
- Actively pursuing CEN in 3 years
- CPRCertification
- Trauma Nurse Course Preferred
