Citizens Sr Data Engineer in Johnston, Rhode Island
Description
This role requires FINRA certification.
This colleague works on the Sales Performance Management team and is responsible for data research & curation for the purposes of sales performance management, incentives, & compensation.
Areas of Focus:
Process Modernization
Support and advance the SPM roadmap for modernization
Increase use of enterprise data assets as source of information
Reduce dependencies on more manual data curation tools and applications
Increase availability and proximity to code for SPM users
Non-Compensation System Plan Support
Support incentive plan administration until onboarded to compensation system (ICM)
Support data feeds to ICM
Support migration to ICM
Data Sourcing, Reacting, and Quality
Source data for incentive plan fulfillment and progress reporting
Collaborate with teams in Technology Services Organization, Enterprise Data Organization and other SPM teams on development and implementation of data asset roadmap, data assets, and sourcing data
Research and cure potential data quality issues
Data Sharing
Transmissions set-up and support
Reporting and quality assurance support
Business Analysis
Gather business requirements & translate to technical solutions
Effective management of projects with varying degrees of complexity and length and act as team lead on certain projects
Build solution documentation for build/support
Administrative
SQL server administration
Sandbox Maintenance
Tools and Access SME (Alteryx, SQL, Redshift etc.)
EUDA maintenance / modernization / elimination
Internal team documentation of process and procedures
External documentation for business partners (exports, processes, procedures)
Required Skills/Experience:
3+ years of technical experience - demonstrated ability/understanding of databases, ETL tools, BI and database query tools such as: SQL, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Tableau, Python
Advanced knowledge of SQL and ETL
AWS Cloud (S3, Redshift, etc.)
SQL Server Administration experience
Strong leadership and communication skills

Bachelor's Degree preferred
Candidates must currently be a U.S. Resident to be eligible for this role.

Hours and Work Schedule
Work Schedule - Monday-Friday, 8:30am- 5:00pm
Hours per Week - 40
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $105,120 - $157,680 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
