Job Overview:
The Sr. Cloud Identity and Access Engineer specialist role is crucial to MUFG adherence to governance and safety and soundness principles, ensuring that our IAM Cloud Security is aligned with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. This is a highly technical engineer who will be the primary person responsible for our Cloud Security platform.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain Entra IAM/SSO solutions using Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical issues in cloud environments (Entra/AWS IAM related issues)
Improve identity and access management solutions and systems for protection against evolving threats and efficiency within Entra/AWS.
Onboard applications using SAML, OAuth, OpenID protocol
Provide support with escalations to vendor hosted apps
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration of SSO/SCIM solutions
Provide technical support and troubleshooting during application integrations
Stay up to date with the latest developments in SSO technology and make recommendations for improvements
Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience in designing and implementing SSO solutions leveraging Entra ID
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with authentication standards and technologies such as multi factor authentication, JSON Web Token (JWT), etc.
Broad understanding of Entra ID a plus, specifically Identity Governance, Conditional Access Policy functionality, B2B, cross tenant synchronization, SCIM Provisioning
PowerShell / Python scripting using Azure/AWS modules
General understanding of Azure Graph and scripting using Graph as well as making calls using Graph Explorer
Strong understanding of SSO concepts and technologies
Ability to create REST API scripts using postman
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or relevant industry certifications. Equivalent work experience is equally preferable.
Other Qualifications:
- As per MUFG’s Return to Office policy, must work onsite for 4 days and 1 day remotely out of Tampa, FL OR Tempe, AZ (highly preferred), or Jersey City, NJ office.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $92K - $135K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
