Title: SQL Developer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated software engineer who can interface with our customers and other technology teams in order to support and enhance existing databases supporting financial forecasting models. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of enterprise finance, exceptional customer service and design skills and good experience in both MS SQL Enterprise and Oracle databases

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Position Requirements:

• Strong SQL development skills with direct experience developing on MS SQL Enterprise Edition and Oracle

• Database design/data modeling experience

• Familiar with Jenkins/Ansible software deployment tools

• Highly motivated self-starter.

• Effective communicator/listener

• Good Problem Solving skills

• Attention to detail, with an ability to identify risks and issues and suggest improvements.

• Experience supporting CFO technology with an emphasis on enterprise forecasting and stress testing.

• Hands on experience using either of the below DB manifest/script deployment tools

• Radical

• Datical
