In the L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division, we change people's lives by creating the ‘beauty of health’ with our iconic brands (La Roche- Posay, Vichy, CeraVe, Skin Ceuticals). With the most prescribed brands by dermatologists and other specialists, our division is maintaining a double-digit growth worldwide for the last 5 years which is fueled by +7.5k employees around the world.
A Day in the Life
This position will be responsible for product education collateral, both for new launches and historical/evergreen assets. The role includes significant collaboration with and support of other functions within the DMI, including Product Development, Digital Marketing, and Medical. Further, position includes direct market support with activations.
Requirements
Undergraduate Degree
Minimum 5 years' experience in field education, sales, or content writing (experience with teaching hands-on technical skills such as chemical peel application or laser operation is useful but not required)
Licensed aesthetician or medical field experience
Very strong written communication and curriculum development skills are a key factor to success in the role
Ability to Travel - May include up to 30% travel (international and domestic)
Absolute proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint
Experience/proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and/or LMS management desired but not required
Responsibilities
Key Focus (70%)
Collaborate with Product Development, Global Marketing, and L’Oréal R&I teams to develop and deliver training assets and strategy for new launches, animations, and innovations, including the Professional Category
Build assets to serve multiple channels of distribution, including medical dispensing, medical retail, travel retail, and pharmacy, and include:
Provide cross-functional support to International Business Development and DMI Sales expertise teams, to ensure quality and utility of Medical Sales Aides/ADVs
Launch support includes hosting or otherwise presenting in global webinars to heads of Education and Medical from markets where SkinCeuticals is sold
Maintenance of evergreen assets, including: Product Knowledge Master Slides (US + International), Professional Category protocols, demonstration videos, and more
Secondary Focus (30%)
Support with content writing for Professional Development programs, where strategic intersections occur. For example, upskilling for physicians, aestheticians, operations managers, and/or front of house clinic staff
Direct support of key markets as they activate and train both internals and externals on new launches
Onboarding support for new Global Marketing hires, including “Product Knowledge Overviews” and “Aesthetic Procedure Upskilling”
Travel and Trade Meetings:
Booth support at DMI-led medical congresses may be required, 3-4x per year (Examples: American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting, IMCAS (Paris), AMWC (Monaco), or World Congress of Dermatology)
International Training Meeting (January)
