Kuehne+Nagel Sea Logistics Training Specialist in Jersey City, New Jersey

Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Jersey City site is looking for a new Sea Logistics Training Specialist to join our Sea Logistics team.

Your Role

Our Sea Logistics National Training Specialist is responsible for delivering onboarding training to newly hired employees and providing advanced education to current employees, ensuring their awareness of industry changes impacting job criteria. Your duties include working closely with the National Training Manger and stakeholders to identify enhancement areas, creating training programs for both new and existing employees with the aim of continually improving business unit efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

  • Liaise with our National Training Manager to plan and schedule training sessions

  • Post and announce training schedules and keep attendance via our Corporate Learning Management System

  • Conduct training for designated groups with the ability to deliver, project and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies both in virtual and live classroom environments

  • Collaborate with the national and internal stakeholders to identify training needs across the Sea Logistics Business Unit

  • Design training surveys to collect training participants' feedback, providing analytics to improve trainings effectiveness based on the feedback

  • Maintain department web pages and support the team in web page related efforts

  • Design, develop and maintain multimedia visual aids and presentations for the end users' training library

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, or other relevant field

  • 3+ years experience designing and implementing training programs

  • Operational knowledge of Sea Logistics beneficial

  • Spanish and English Language proficiency

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
