Kuehne+Nagel National Sea Logistics Training Intern in Jersey City, New Jersey

Your Role

Reporting to the National Sea Logistics Training Manager you will be presented with unique opportunity to learn the field of Supply Chain/Logistics with hands-on work experience. The knowledge obtained by the intern through immersing themselves into the day-to-day activities of the company will be invaluable experience as the intern advances their career. This position is for a one-year internship, assisting the National Training Team with training and administrative support, as well as material creation, to bring continued improvement and efficiencies into the Sea Logistics Training.

Your Responsibilities

  • Postand announce training schedules and keep attendance via Corporate LMS Learning Management Systems).

  • Producelive trainings for designated groups and record questions and areas of concernsfor trainers to review and act on.

  • Maintaindepartment web pages and support the team in web page related efforts.

  • Design,develop and maintain multimedia visual aids and presentations for the endusers' training library.

  • Supportthe Regional Training Team with effective curriculum development.

  • Supportthe design of training surveys to collect training participants' feedback.Provide analytics to improve trainingseffectiveness based on the feedback.

  • Supportthe National Training Manager with defining and measuring success metrics andmonitor change progress.

  • Supportdifferent platform testing and analysis for possible integration into thetraining.

  • Collaboratewith the National Systems, Process and Training Team and internal stakeholdersto identify training needs across the Business Unit Sea Logistics.

  • Helpwith the analysis of the training effectiveness and suggest appropriatemodification if needed.

  • Developand seek out cutting-edge research and information to generate ideas for SeaLogistics Training development.

  • Attendand participate in departmental meetings and workshops to discuss businessprocess related issues and contribute to the projects as a team member.

  • Mustconstantly keep up with the Business Unit Sea Logistics changes in theprocesses, policies and regulations in order to support end-user trainings development.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • 1+ years' Training Experience

  • 1+ years industry experience

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles.
