Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Jersey City location is looking for a new Global Sea Logistics Pricing Supervisor to join our Sea Logistics Pricing team.

Your Role

In this high impact role, you will work across key pricing and sales team to drive growth while negotiating for the best possible solutions from the world’s largest ocean carriers. This is a global role that touches on all aspects of the business. You will represent the company when facing customers and carriers and you will be responsible for making decisions at the core of our sea logistics pricing strategy.

Your Responsibilities

· Develop & execute pricing strategies

o Manage pricing and solutions through complex RFQs

o Formulate and implement pricing decisions

o Support national pricing and sales teams in strategy execution & customer engagement

o Collaborate across local, national and global teams and identify market trends

· Optimize allocation & yield

o Negotiate rates, terms and allocations directly with ocean carriers

o Collect demand forecast from sales channels and business unit

o Monitor allocations and manage yield performance year round

o Build close relationships with ocean carriers

· Market analysis & stakeholder engagement

o Participate in market discussions on demand, pricing, and macro impacts

o Lead weekly ocean carrier meetings to stay informed on industry trends

o Drive communication between internal and external stakeholders

· Data-driven decision making

o Maintain performance reports for ocean carriers, customers, contracts, and area teams

o Identify trends and opportunities to increase market share

o Develop pricing solutions and improve tender success rates

o Build data visualization dashboards for supply chain decision-making

o Work cross-functionally to enhance data quality across business units

o Design tools to improve reporting efficiency

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor’sdegree in economics, business administration, supply chain management orrelated field

• 4+years of freight forwarder or ocean carrier trade management experience

• Experiencewith data analytics tools, such as Business Objects, Tableau

• Abilityto travel for business reasons

• Strongwritten and verbal communication

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
