We are in the process of recruiting a Financial Analyst to join our team stationed in Passaic County, NJ. The selected candidate will work within the retail industry, focusing on a variety of tasks such as credit application processing, customer record maintenance, and customer inquiry resolution. The role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary action.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and develop financial models for decision support

• Employ data mining techniques to derive insights from financial data

• Utilize accounting software systems and Crystal Reports to process customer credit applications

• Maintain customer credit records using CRM platforms

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

• Monitor customer accounts and execute necessary actions

• Perform accounting functions and accrual accounting tasks

• Ensure all financial operations align with the latest auditing standards

• Contribute to budget processes and capital management initiatives

• Engage with business partners and department heads to understand their budgeting needs and utilization.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• SAP is a plus

• Degree in Finance or Accounting

• Proficient knowledge of Data Mining Techniques is crucial

• In-depth understanding of Accounting Functions is compulsory

• Mastery in Accrual Accounting is required

• Experience in Auditing is needed

• Knowledge of Budget Processes is essential

• Ability in Capital Management is a must
